2. What we collect

• Details you give us in the quote form, by phone, WhatsApp or email: name, phone number, email address, company, site location and a description of your power needs.
• Basic technical data your browser sends when you visit (such as IP address and browser type), which our hosting provider may log for security.
• Site, equipment and service records when we quote on, install or maintain systems for you.

3. Why we use it

• To respond to enquiries and prepare quotations.
• To plan, carry out and document installations, repairs and maintenance, including Certificates of Compliance.
• To manage service level agreements, invoicing and warranty claims.
• To meet legal, tax and safety obligations.

We process personal information only where it is necessary for these purposes, with your consent, to perform a contract with you, or to comply with the law. We do not sell your information and we do not send direct marketing without your consent.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only where needed to deliver our services: for example with equipment suppliers and manufacturers for warranty claims, with utilities or municipalities for grid-tie registrations, with our form-handling provider (Web3Forms), which delivers website enquiries to our inbox, and with professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it. Some of these providers may store data outside South Africa; we only use providers that protect information to a standard comparable to POPIA.

5. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires (for example tax and electrical compliance records), after which it is securely deleted or de-identified.

6. How we protect it

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to prevent loss, misuse or unauthorised access, including access controls and encrypted transmission (HTTPS) on this website.

7. Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask us to confirm whether we hold your personal information, request access to it, ask us to correct or delete it, object to its processing, and withdraw consent at any time. To do so, email admin@pselectronicshive.co.za. Access requests are handled under our PAIA manual.
