By using this website you agree to these terms. Where a signed quotation, order or service level agreement contains different terms, that document applies.
2. Website information
We work to keep this website accurate, but product ranges, specifications, response times and examples are for general information only and may change. They do not form an offer. Final scope, pricing and specifications are confirmed in a written quotation.
3. Quotations
- Quotations are valid for the period stated on them. Equipment prices may change with supplier pricing and exchange rates before an order is confirmed.
- Site surveys and consultations are offered free of charge unless agreed otherwise in writing.
- Work starts once a quotation is accepted in writing and any agreed deposit is received.
4. Payment
Payment terms are as stated on the quotation or invoice. Ownership of supplied equipment passes to the client only once payment has been received in full.
5. Installation and safety
- Electrical work is carried out in line with SANS 10142-1 and the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and a Certificate of Compliance is issued where required.
- The client must give safe, reasonable access to the site and disclose known hazards.
- Grid-tied systems may need approval from the local municipality or Eskom; timelines for those approvals are outside our control.
6. Warranties
Equipment carries the manufacturer's warranty. Our workmanship is guaranteed as stated on the quotation. Warranties do not cover damage from misuse, unauthorised changes, lightning or surges beyond the equipment rating, flooding, theft, or failure to follow maintenance recommendations. Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act are not affected.
7. Cancellations
If an accepted order is cancelled, costs already incurred, including special-order equipment, may be charged. Where the Consumer Protection Act gives you a right to cancel, that right applies.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, PS Electronics is not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or data arising from power interruptions or equipment failure.
9. Intellectual property
The content, photos and logo on this website belong to PS Electronics or are used with permission, and may not be copied without written consent. Product names and trademarks belong to their owners.
10. Privacy
Personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy and PAIA manual.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
